Definition
System Alias in the portal:
Specifies the name of the system (system alias) that was defined in the portal for the back-end system in which the form is called.
Use
Dependencies
In most cases, the system alias is not defined in the back-end system. Consequently the system is not in a position to check if the system alias is correct. If the system alias is not correct when the ISR form is called, an error message is issued. The input help for the system alias displays all of the system aliases used to date.
Note:
The back-end system name does not have to match the system alias in the portal.
The system alias entered is only relevant if you are using the Web dynpro ABAP interface of the ISR (Internal Service Request). The entry is ignored if you are using the Web dynpro JAVA interface of the ISR.
