Definition

Date from which a master record is valid.

Use

If you use a copy model, you can enter a key date in this field.

• If you enter a key date, the system searches for a version of the master record that is valid on the given date. If a record is found, the data is copied into the master record you are creating.
• If you do not enter any date, the system displays all valid versions of the master record. From the list, you can select a version that you want to use as a copy model.

Dependencies

In addition, you must enter the number of the master record whose data you want to copy. To further limit the selection of records, you can also enter the plant of the master record.
