Documentation
Definition
Indicates that only defect recording is carried out for the inspection lot. (This indicator has not previously been used).
Supplementary Documentation - QFEHLBEWC 0001
Use
You define the criterion for the defect valuation. For example, you can valuate the defects quantitatively on the basis of damage potential or nonconformity costs.
Procedure
Examples
Dependencies
The confirmation profile in the Customizing application specifies whether or not the defects will be valuated quantitatively during defects recording.
You can predefine an appropriate unit of measurement in the catalog profile (Customizing application) for this purpose.
The following key figures are available in the QM information system for evaluation purposes:
- the cumulated defect valuation
- the mean value for the defect valuation
Supplementary Documentation - QFEHLKLAS 0001
Use
Describes the defect class of a code from the inspection catalog. The defect class is used during the recording of results for an inspection characteristic.
Notes
The defect class is only used for codes in catalog type 1.
When you manually enter a code group and code for a selected set in catalog type 1, you can also enter a defect class.
If you use the copy function or the selection function to automatically add codes to the selected set, the system copies the defect class (if one exists for the code) to this field (only for catalog type 1).
Dependencies
- If you enter an R (rejected) for the valuation of a code, you must also enter a defect class.
- If you enter an A (accepted) for the valuation of a code, you can only enter the defect classes for this code that have been defined in Customizing.
Supplementary Documentation - QFEHLKLAS 0002
Use
Procedure
Examples
Dependencies
The defect class is only supplied, if catalog type 9 (defect types) is used for results recording or notification processing. The defect class is then usually taken from the catalog code.
Note
If the defect is automatically created using the characteristic valuation in inspection processing, the defect valuation is taken from the characteristic.
The properties of the defect class can be controlled in the SAP system. You can specify these properties in Customizing.
Supplementary Documentation - QFEHLKLAS 0003
Use
You can only record the defect class for catalog 9.
Procedure
Examples
Dependencies
You can set the controls for the defect class in Customizing for Catalogs.
