Use

If this indicator is set, the system tries to combine the defect data for each inspection lot in one notification, if, for example:

• Defect data with different report types was recorded for several operations
• Additional defect data is recorded for a notification that has already been completed. In this case, the notification is set for processing again.

If this indicator is set, defects can only be recorded at operation or characteristic level by one user, since the quality notification is locked for a second user while it is being processed.

If the recorded defects relate to individual objects, the system creates a Q-notification for each object. This applies to the following object types:

• Serial number
• Equipment
• Functional location
