Use

If you set this indicator, skips are allowed for inspection characteristics during sample calculation.

If you do not set this indicator, the system chooses the next inspection stage in the dynamic modification rule that is not a skip, instead of the skip defined in the quality level during sample calculation.

Procedure

Examples

Dependencies

You can prevent skips for individual characteristics by assigning:

Dependent functions

If all the inspection characteristics, which must be inspected at an inspection lot, have skip status, a skip lot exists.

If both skips and automatic usage decisions are allowed, inspection lot processing occurs without the user's intervention for a skip lot. In Customizing, you can set a time delay for this.
At goods receipt a ship-to-stock occurs since the inspection lot quantity is immediately posted to unrestricted use stock.

Note

In addition to a skip lot, skips can also occur if you:

  • Define that no receiving inspections occur in the control for quality management in procurement (quality info record)
  • Define in the inspection setup for the material in the quality management view of the material master, that an inspection only occurs at the first goods receipt for each purchase order or production order

Supplementary Documentation - QDYNREGEL 0001

Use

On the basis of different inspection stages, the system can vary the inspection scopes. If the inspection scopes remain the same, other conditions for an inspection stage change are applicable.

You can store a dynamic modification rule in one of the following places:

  • In the inspection plan at the header level
  • In the inspection plan at the characteristic level
  • In the material master record (for the inspection type in the QM inspection data)
If you want to dynamically modify the inspection scope without referencing a task list and/or material specification.

Use

If you enter the identifier of a dynamic modification rule that already exists, the system copies all values associated with this rule and proposes them as the values for the dynamic modification rule that you are creating.

Procedure

Enter the identifier for a dynamic modification rule that already exists.

Supplementary Documentation - QDYNREGEL 0003

Use

This field is only relevant if you inspect a material without using a task list or material specification.

If you enter a dynamic modification rule in this field, the system maintains a quality level for the material, plant, and inspection type. If the quality level is created automatically, the system determines the dynamic modification criteria via the inspection lot origin.

Procedure

Examples

Dependencies

If you also use a sampling procedure to determine the sample size, the system checks whether the dynamic modification rule and sampling procedure are compatible (see Allowed Relationships).
