Definition
Assigns a material that is manufactured in batches or production lots to a specific batch.
Use
If you discover during an inspection that part of the goods being inspected do not belong to the same batch assigned to the inspection lot, you can make a transfer posting to a different batch of the same material.
You can also make a transfer posting to a batch of a different material.
Dependencies
The field "Quantity to new material" contains the quantity of the material that is being posted.
