Use
If you set this indicator, the system can make automatic usage decisions for inspection lots.
The inspection lots must fulfill the following conditions:
- All inspection characteristics are completed
- None of the characteristics were rejected
- No defects were recorded, and no quality notifications created
- The lead time set in Customizing must have elapsed.
Inspection lots with the status skip lot can also be taken into account.
Dependencies
The automatic usage decision is only activated for an inspection lot if you have set the indicator for the relevant inspection type in the QM inspection setup data at the level of the material master.
You can activate background processing using the job management functions.
You can schedule and start jobs from the worklist function in quality inspection.

Note
If the system cannot make an automatic usage decision, you must make the usage decision manually.
The system documents the automatic usage decision in the long text for the usage decision.
