Definition

The trip duration of international trips can be subdivided into calendar days of 24-hour intervals. The respective meals per diems are calculated for the defined interval in the accounting program.

The possible values for international trips are:

Reimbursement amount Tax-free amount
1 : calendar days calendar days
2 : 24-hour intervals 24-hour intervals

.... and for Austrian accounting additionally:
3 : 24-hour intervals 24-hour intervals
4 : caldendar days 24-hour intervals

Note:
In Travel Accounting for Austria, the constant REIAS in table T706_CONS makes it possible to switch between options 1 and 2 or options 3 and 4 depending on the trip duration.
