Definition
Here you define whether the system should check if time sheet data (CATS) exists for the trip duration when a trip is changed in the Travel Expenses Manager.
Input values
'0' = CATS data will not be checked
'1' = CATS data will be checked when a trip is changed.
When you change a trip, the system checks whether time sheet data exists for the trip duration.
If data does exist, the time sheet data will also be displayed and can also be approved.
This is a special administrative function which enables administrators to approve trips and time sheets at the same time. For more information see the shared approval tool for trips and time sheets.
This funcxtion is NOT supported in distributed systems. The CATS and Trip information must be stored in the same system.
The time sheet data will only be displayed if the employee has authorization to approve CATS data for the appropriate employee number and this personnel number is not their own personnel number.
You can deactivate this function per user by setting the parameter ID PR05_CATS_APPR_OFF = 'X' in the user record.
