Documentation
Definition
Here, you specify whether travelers can edit time sheets (CATS for Service Providers - transactiopn CATSXT) in the transactions Travel manager (PR05) and Travel expense report (PR05).
Input values
0 = Time sheets can not be edited with Travel transactions.
1 = Time sheets can be edited with Travel transactions.
If you use transaction PR05, you are provided with an additional icon within the trip which enables you to goto the time sheet.
Transaction TRIP provides you with the options to create/change time sheets in the follow-on actions for open trips. Time sheets that have already been posted are displayed in the trip overview list.
If no work times exist for the trip duration, the trip short text, trip duration and the first available cost assignment for the trip are copied, as default valued into the time sheet.
If you copy an existing trip and then goto time recording, the System searches for work times in the old (copied) trip duration. If the system finds any times, the user is prompted to copy these times into the time period for the new trip.
Note
The system is set up to use CATS for Service Providers. It is, however also possible to use CATS Classic. To do this you must make the setting START_CATS = 'X' in your user parameter settings. Default values and the copy functions are, however, only supported for the interface CATS for Service Providers.
