Documentation
Definition
The interval is used to define the period within which a month-based billing occurs. The interval defines the lower and upper limits of the billing period in days, so that billing occurs for the exact number of months defined in the portion.
If the number of days in the billing period is not covered by the the interval, billing occurs for the exact number of days.
Use
Dependencies
The interval is only relevant if the appropriate period control in the rate step is selected for a month-based billing in accordance with an interval.
Example
In the portion a period length of one month is defined. An interval of 25 - 35 days is set. This means that billing will occur on a monthly basis if the billing period covers between 25 and 35 days. If this is not the case, billing occurs for an exact number of days.
