Definition

As a rule, depreciation is always updated when a change is made to the asset. However, there are exceptions to this rule. This field is used to ensure that the rule, as well as the type of exceptions, are managed directly on the asset. For instance, it is possible to make sure that depreciation is newly calculated for assets with unit-of-production depreciation before each depreciation posting.
This field is automatically supplied with values by the depreciation calculation program.
