Definition
Description of the procedure with which a point of departure or a destination specified in the delivery is to be replaced by a different location. This replacement is required if, for example, a transportation planning system should only plan the preliminary legs for overseas deliveries for a specific route. In this case, the procedure may include the replacement of the destination (specified in the delivery) with the port of departure in the main leg (if a main leg exists) or a replacement with a fixed transportation connection point (e.g. a fixed port of departure).
