This indicator allows you to stipulate that the updating of the external vendor data from the external data file is to be subjected to a preliminary check only. That is to say, no actual updating takes place: the external data records are merely checked for consistency.

Dependencies

Please do not fail to carry out a check run before updating the "actual" data (version '000') or write the data to one of the test versions. The latter begin with the characters '&('. The third character is available to you for your own purposes. Using report 'RMCVISCP' or the LIS Copy Management Tool, you can delet, copy, or change update data.
