Definition
Specifies the organizational priority of a material requisition. You can define the organizational priority, if required, and specify additional factors for the requirement prioritization of your material requisitions.
The plant/storage location combinations that you use, plants without a specified storage location, or fields that you have selected in purchasing documents can be assigned to individual organizational priorities (via a Business Add-In). Next, you assign the requirement priorities the organizational priorities that you have defined. Once you have assigned all the necessary data, the system determines the requirement priority of a purchase requisition using the combination of requirement urgency group and organizational priority.
If you use the Defense Forces and Public Security industry solution, the organizational priority defines the importance that a force element has for prioritizing material requisitions. In this case, plants and storage locations do not have to be assigned manually.
