Definition

Part of the path for accessing the data carrier for original application data from the computer you are currently using. This section of the path describes how to access the data carrier as a logical drive.

Use

  • When you process an original application file that is on this specific data carrier from this specific frontend computer, this path section (for example, s:\) appears before the path to the original application file in the Original field in the document info record.
  • If you always use one directory on this data carrier, you can add this directory to the path (for example, s:\cad\data).
  • If you use the file manager to enter an original application file in a document info record, this directory is the default directory.

Examples

See the IMG.

Dependencies

The complete path is made up of the following two sections:

  • section for the specific combination of computers, defined in customizing (IMG activity 'Define mount points/logical drives')
  • section stored in the document info record, in the Original field

Note for operating system MAC OS:
The suffix %SCRIPT% means that the line is interpreted as an AppleScript line.
Example:
open file "harddisk:tmp:%f" %SCRIPT%
