Definition

In this field you can enter any character, which is then used as a highlight character in the list.

This character has the following significance:

  • In report rows (sets)

A row is printed with the specified character before a totals record with an appropriate level of detail (upper border). You must enter a valid highlight area.

  • In row formulas

A row is printed with the specified character above the formula line (upper border).

  • In lines of a key figure block

A row with the specified character is printed before the line of the key figure block (upper border).

  • In report columns

The specified character is printed as a column break character to the left of a totals column with an appropriate level of detail.

The numbers "1" and "9" are reserved characters. They represent the number of blank spaces that are to be used instead of the highlight line (except for columns).
