Documentation
Definition
The key figure contains the price difference value maintained during the invoice verification process. The key figure is a retail and RMA-specific value but can also be used in other applications.
Use
The key figure is used to supply SAP BI with the value of price variances out of the invoice verification process. The value is transferred to SAP BI using DataSource 2LIS_06_INV
.
Originally the price difference is stored in the FI documents (table BSEG).
Dependencies
The key figure only updates the price differences collected at the Price Difference Account (KTOSL = PRD
). The PRD account is filled only if there is not enough inventory available during the invoice verification.
In Customizing you can set up the handling of exchange rate differences (Configure How Exchange Rate Differences Are Treated). For each company code you can decided if the exchange rate is treated as a separate account, or if the exchange rate is posted to the pricing difference account. If US-GAAP and/or RMA (Retail Method of Accounting) is used, you must ensure that the exchange rates are posted to a separate account and are not included in the PRD account.
