Definition
The process interface serves to modify BOM data that is sent from a CRM System ("structured products") to an OLTP R/3 System.
You have the possibility to make customer-specific overwrites to the data sent. This influences which BOM data is read in the OLTP R/3 System for comparison, and which data is taken as the starting point for the conversion.
In addition, there is the possibility to make customer-specific modifications to the BOM data after it has been compared and converted. This directly influences which BOM data is written into the data base of the OLTP R/3 System.
