Definition
Value of the goods movement at retail
Use
If valuation at retail is active, you can enter the retail value (retail price including sales tax) of the material. In the material master record, the stock value is updated to the retail value. You can enter the retail value of the material here. If you do not enter a retail value and the system cannot find one, the movement is valuated with the retail value 0.
If you do not enter a retail value, the system determines the retail value from the price conditions (or from the purchase order in the case of a goods receipt).
