Definition

Serves as the description of a shipment cost item.

Use

When creating a shipment cost item, the system proposes a description. The shipment number is proposed for shiment cost items that refer to a shipment header. The shipment number+description, departure point+ description and destination point are proposed for the description of shipment cost items that refer to a transportation leg.

If you activate customer exit V54C0001, you can change the automatic proposal. The description can be changed manually during document processing

Note

Since this description can be seen again during invoice check, you should try to standardize as much as possible to facilitate your business processes.
