Definition
Number allocated by the SAP system for a promotion.
Use
Using this number, turnover of sales items is assigned to the relevant promotion.
If the POS system is not able to provide the promotion number, the promotion is found in SAP Retail using the sales date.
If the POS system provides the promotion number, this is updated with priority over the internal R/3 promotion number. In this case, the user is responsible for filling the field.
