Definition

Indicates that the system is to prepare special promotion discounts that are maintained at a higher level than material level using a separate IDoc type.

Use

Set this indicator when the system is to prepare this kind of promotion discount. In the IDoc type, discounts that relate for example to an entire material group or a whole assortment are transferred.

Dependencies

It only makes sense to set this indicator if the target system in the store is also able to analyze the information prepared in this IDoc. This generally only applies to store retailing systems, as POS systems are usually dependent on material-specific information.
The target system has to expand the discount information sent at material level and pass it on to the POS system.
