Documentation
Definition
Flag indicating that consignment processing should be active in POS inbound.
Use
Under certain conditions, consignment procesing can convert goods issues from the dealer's unrestricted use stock to postings from vendor consignment stock.
Dependencies
This function only affects the material documents and their follow-up documents, but not the other documents created by POS inbound.
If you want to activate consignment processing, you also have to activate the inventory management process in the POS profile. Moreover, to use consignment processing in POS inbound, the consignment flag also has to be set in the configuration for inventory management. Configure these settings in the Implementation Guide (IMG) under Logistics - General -> Retail Consignment Procesing.
