Definition

You can use this indicator to specify the way in which quantity differences for the PODS are processed for inbound delivery items.

You can choose from the following:

  • V = fully automatic processing

    Here the default reasons defined in the system (standard reasons) are automatically created for each difference in delivery quantity in the inbound delivery. You cannot change the default reasons or differences in quantity manually.

  • T = partially automatic processing

    Here the default reasons defined in the system (standard reasons) are automatically created for each difference in delivery quantity in the inbound delivery. This transaction is immediately displayed in a popupand can be changed with reference to quantity differences and detailed entry of difference reasons.

  • M = manual processing

    If this setting is carried out in Customizing, a popup appears each time there is a quantity change in a POD relevant inbound item. You can enter difference reasons and difference quantities in the popup manually. In this case, the system does not propose default reasons.
