Definition

Time event types, such as clock-in and clock-out entries, can be grouped together to form work time event type groups.

Use

An employee may record only the time event types which are allowed for his/her work time event type group.

Example

You want to define that an employee may not record work time events for an order at the terminal (such as the start of setup, end of work), but may record time events for a person (such as clock-in/out times, start of off-site work).
Use this field to specify a work time event type group that does not allow work time events to be posted.

Work time event type groups can be created using the Define Work Time Event Type Groups view.
