Definition
Number of calendar days which are needed to procure the material or service via external procurement.
Procedure
If you have a number of different vendors for a material, enter an average value. The same applies if you order the material from a fixed vendor and this vendor has a number of different delivery times.
Dependencies
If you use the SAP retail system, the system can use the vendor sub-range data in the vendor master to determine a default value for the planned delivery time.
Note
The data element is needed for the direct comparison of values at point in time T and T+1.
