Definition

If you maintain a replenishment strategy with control type 6 "Transfer requests from a Warehouse Management controlled storage location", then the appropriate transfer order can be confirmed in the background when a Kanban is set to FULL. If the manual entry of an actual Kanban quantity results in a difference, then the value entered here is used for classifying the differences according to the cause (eg. break, theft).

Use

Differences can occur during the execution of goods transfers. You can specifiy such differences during the confirmation process. With the difference indicator, you define the storage type and the storage bin to which the difference is to be posted. Also, this information can be used in reports.
