Definition
If you select this field, the system creates a control cycle for the classic KANBAN production method.
In classic KANBAN, the supply source, the demand source and the replenishment procedure is defined in the control cycle. In addition, you also define how many kanbans circulate between the demand source and the supply source as well as the quantity per kanban. In the classic KANBAN procedure, the kanban signal always only triggers replenishment for the kanban quantity defined in the control cycle. Moreover, it is not possible to circulate more kanbans than are defined in the control cycle without changing the control cycle first.
