Definition
Activates an automatic transfer order direct from the creation of a transfer request.
You use this indicator when you maintain a replenishment strategy with control type 6 "Transfer requests from a Warehouse Management controlled storage location".
This procedure is also named direct transfer order creation.
The direct transfer order enables the automatic conversion of a
transfer request, which was created for Kanban into a transfer order. Directly after drawing up the transfer request for Kanban, the system creates a transfer order for the transfer request.
If errors occur, a corresponding error note can be sent to a specific user via the general warehouse management mail control. The mail control is maintained via the warehouse definition, in the storage type for replenishment stocks or the production warehouse type.
