Definition
Use
With the weighting, you specify the distribution of requirements among existing PSAs. The distribution is carried out for all requirement types that you selected in the first step of this activity.
Dependencies
Example
Material A is made available in the three production supply areas (PSAs) PVB1, PVB2, and PVB3.
For PVB1, you specify 2 as the weighting. For PVB 2 and 3, you specify the weighting 1. This causes 50% of all requirements for material A (which you selected in the first step) to be assigned to PVB1. PVB2 and PVB3 are each assigned 25% of the requirements.
