Definition
The entered number of background work processes is reserved for processing jobs of the job class A. The reservation of at least one work process in the SAP System ensures that jobs of class A cannot be blocked by less important jobs. Jobs of class A are by definition essential for the further operation of the system or the company.
Note: If the number of reserved background processes is equal to the number of background processes, only jobs of class A can be processed. Jobs from other classes are not processed.
