Definition

The start-up profile controls activities when starting and stopping an instance. It contains the commands with which an instance of the program SAPSTART is started and stopped, it executes possible preparatory measures and postprocessing measures.

You will find additional information on start-up profiles in the manual System Administration Guide.

Use

Procedure

To use the standard start-up profile, press the input key or press Default settings when creating an instance. The system proposes the standard start-up profile as a value for this field.

The standard profile results with the standard installation of the system. It must exist under this name if you want to use it.

Select Maintain details if you want to use an alternative profile.
