Definition

The instance profile contains instance-specific parameter values and supplements the global system profile DEFAULT.PFL.

You will find additional information on system profiles in the manual System Administration Guide.

Use

Procedure

To use the standard instance profile, press the input key or the pushbutton Default settings when creating an instance. The system proposes the standard instance profile as a value for this field.

The standard profile results with the standard installation of the system. It must exist under this name if you want to use it.

Select Maintain details if you want to use an alternative profile.
