Definition

The directory is used, among other things, for trace files and log files and must be locally on the host system of the instance.

Use

Procedure

To use the standard path name of the work directory, press the input key or the pushbutton Default settings when creating an instance. The system proposes the standard directory as a value for this field.

The standard directory is created with the standard installation of the system. It must exist if you want to use it.

Select Maintain details if you want to use an alternative work directory.
