Definition
Materials planning is done using a quasi-seasonal model: e.g. New Year
and Fasching (fixed dates) are the sales peaks for champagne. Here, a
type of profile is entered which contains these dates and which "only"
means that a message is provided which the MRP controller is to react
to.
