Definition

The cost to the employer for all operating expenses attributable to personal use of the automobile by the employee during the tax year.

Note

If the operating expense is $0.00, or if the employee reimburses the employer in the year or no later than 45 days after the end of the year for all operating expenses attributable to personal use, no benefit will accrue for operating costs in the year.
