Definition
Indicator to identify if the values stated are based on Previous Year Results or Current Year Estimate.
An employee remunerated on a commission basis may determine this percentage using either of the methods described below:
- The aggregate of the expense giving entitlement to a deduction for the previous year and the total of the reductions for the previous year, is subtracted from the commission income received during the previous year.
- The aggregate of the estimated expenses giving entitlement to a deduction for the current year and the estimated total of the reductions for the current year, is subtracted from the estimated income to be received during the current year.
An employee who did not receive commission income during the previous year must determine the percentage on the basis of amounts estimated for the current year.
