Definition

Employment Equity Occupational Groups (EEOG's) are groupings of
individual jobs which have been classified according to the National
Occupational Classification (NOC).

Each of the different jobs has been assigned a four-digit NOC code.
These coded jobs have been grouped together into the fourteen
EEOG's ranging from 'Senior Managers' to 'Other Manual Workers'.

EEOG's or the detailed NOC are used for workforce analysis i.e.
employment equity reporting.
