Definition

The PATIENTEVENTS indicator was introduced in IS-H Release 4.61. No system activities are required. If this indicator is not set, system behavior is as prior to this indicator being introduced.

This indicator stipulates whether patient events that occur at the same time as movement events are to give rise to messages to be transmitted to the partner system.

If this indicator is not set, patient master events will continue to be suppressed, and only movement events will be turned into messages. If this indicator is set, patient master events are also taken into account, and an additional message is transmitted to the partner system.
