Documentation
Definition
The indicator for name format enables you to output names in a person-dependent form.
The field special form in the Personal Data infotype (0002) enables you to specify an individual name form that differs from the standard form. The standard form (indicator '00') is used if there is no entry made in the field Special Form .
Examples
- Academic titles, where known, are always stored for persons. However, some people prefer not to have their academic titles used.
- The person's first name should be replaced by the name the person is generally called.
