Definition

Quantity input relating to the implied putaway in the distribution center.

Use

Dependencies

You must enter at least one distribution center for the implied putaway in the view "Recipients for the Item".

Example

Example of a top-down allocation strategy:

Planned item quantity:    1000 CAR

Putaway as an absolute value:    200

This means that 200 CAR are planned for implied putaway in the distribution center. 800 CAR will be distributed among the remaining recipients.

When using this parameter in the bottom-up allocation strategy (without a planned quantity in the item), the value is copied directly as the quantity for the implied putaway in the distribution center. This does not affect the quantities determined for the remaining recipients.
