Documentation

This indicator determines whether the validity date of the vendor declaration should be automatically determined.

Automatic date determination is only available for lists with preference zones. For all other lists, the indicator is not taken into consideration (see 2 below).

  1. If this indicator is selected, the following logic is used:
    1. If a default value is entered for the validity date in the selection criteria screen, the system uses the value entered.
    2. If no default value is selected...

      If the vendor declaration validity date is greater than or equal to the system date, then the system uses the vendor declaration validity date plus 365 days.

      If the vendor declaration validity date is less than the system date or is the initial value, then the system uses the system date plus 365 days.
  2. If the indicator is not selected, the following logic is applied:
    1. If a default value is entered for the validity date in the selection criteria screen, the system uses the value entered.
    2. If no default value is entered, placeholders are printed.

Note

The descriptions of the preference zones must be maintained in each language that will be printed.
