Definition

When you select this field, the system uses currency conversion rate I instead of the default conversion rate M.

Values considered for this conversion include

  • Statistical value (border crossing rate)
  • Invoice value

For all transactions, as a first step, the FT system automatically converts the statistical value into the local currency using conversion rate M and stores it in the database.

For INTRASTAT declarations, you can select between conversion rates I and M.

For use in official declarations and customs processing, customs authorities can set their own exchange rate type. (See EU Customs Codex ZK Article 35.) For this conversion, the FT system uses rate I (INTRASTAT).

You maintain all foreign currency exchange rates in table TCURR.
