Definition

In the SAP system, goods text for commodity codes/code numbers is stored in several table fields of the same length. When goods texts are loaded in the system, some may become fragmented, that is, words may be divided over two table fields.

Use

You can use this parameter to control whether the goods text should be stored as formatted or not in the table fields. Set the parameters as follows:

• 'X' : Carry out formatting. Words are not broken up.
• ' ' : Do not carry out formatting. The goods text is entered in the table fields continuously. Some words could be broken up.
