Definition

Country groupings enable you to search for licenses for several countries with identical legal requirements. This reduces the maintenance significantly for this process.

Use

The assignment of countries to groupings is based on the legal regulations and is dependent on the following factors:

• Export regulations
• Political situation
• Economic situation

If this indicator is selected, the system checks to see which country groupings have been created for which legal regulations and for which legal regulations no country groupings exist.

Example

In the United States of America, countries groups are used for this purpose. This corresponds to the Länderlisten (country lists) in Germany.
