Definition
Grouping that controls how the system performs legal control and the assignment of licenses to materials based on the various legal regulations to be observed.
Procedure
Enter the relevant grouping. As opposed to material classifications, you can select any grouping.
Use
Groupings can be used to combine and group materials with different export classes that are to be handled and processed in the same manner based on current export regulations.
Since export regulations that are to be applied for a material are not based on the material itself or on the export class assigned, the corresponding license type is determined during the legal control process based on the grouping assigned to the material in the material master record.
If this indicator is selected, the system checks which groupings exist for which legal regulations and for which legal regulations no groupings exist.
