Procedure
Set this indicator if you want the billing date to be used to make the selection.
Do not set the indicator if you want the date of services rendered to be used to make the selection.
Use
The date is checked against the entries you make in the Reporting month and Reporting year fields to determine whether a billing document should be included in the official declaration for this month and year.
Example
Reporting month: August
Reporting year 1995
Scenario 1:
You want the selection to be made on the basis of the billing date so you set the origin of date indicator. When you run the report, the system checks the billing date in each billing document to determine whether it falls in August 1995. If this is the case and the billing document matches the other selection criteria, it is included in the declaration.
Scenario 2:
You want the selection to be made on the basis of the date of services rendered so you do not set the origin of date indicator. When you run the report the system checks the date of services rendered to determine whether it falls in August 1995. If this is the case and the billing document matches the other selection criteria, it is included in the declaration. If, for example, the date of services rendered lies in July 95 and the billing date lies in August 95, the billing document would not be included in the declaration.
