Definition

This field must be used when the employee has terminated his/her employment and the CAF refunds/withholdings are not to be calculated any longer.

This function calculates refunds and withholdings for employees who left in this way:

  1. if the employee has left in the calculation month, the system processes CAF data (refunds and withholdings) as usual;
  2. if the employee has left before the calculation month, and this field contains an earlier date than the end of the current pay period, only refunds are calculated;
  3. if the employee has left a month before the calculation one and this field contains a date subsequent to the end of the current pay period, the CAF (refunds and withholdings) is calculated as usual.

In any of these cases, a warning is displayed in the payroll log.
