Documentation
Definition
The Report Writer normally prints field values using their entire length. In this field, you can enter a different output length. The field values in your reports will then be output using this length.
Example
In your system, the account numbers stored in the data base are 10 characters long. However, if you only use 6-character account numbers, you can define the output length 6 in this field. If you create a report with accounts in the row definition, the account numbers will be printed with 6 characters.
